Being an avid
social networker and a magazine reader, I read many articles aiming to help
people live more fulfilled lives. One particular contradicting matter that
seems to crop up every now and then is the argument of living life saying ‘yes’
compared to a life without fear of saying ‘no.’
Numerous articles
encourage people to be brave and bold and not let anything prevent them from
experiences. But in contrast many articles also persuade readers to have the
courage to say no to things.
So which is the
best way to live? Or is it a combination of the two?
I for one cannot
stand saying no. A mix of not wanting to disappoint and not wanting to miss out
certainly affect my decision.
Arguments for
saying no suggest you need to be able to take time for yourself and allow
yourself to manage all the responsibilities you have.
Is
saying yes bold or weak and is saying no rude or responsible?

Hey there, Martha! I love how you put so much content in a short little post. Interesting content, too, I think.
ReplyDeleteThe ability to say "No" when you need to is extremely important, in my opinion. Should you be ashamed of saying "yes" a lot, or when you really want to say no, though? Definitely not. It depends on the situation to say if it's bold, weak, rude, or responsible. There are times to say no, and there are times to say yes. I think it's up to yourself to decide when each is appropriate!
All the best to you,
